About The Position

The Distribution Center Lead assists with operational activities within the distribution warehouse to support efficient fulfillment of customer orders while following company-defined procedures. The role helps manage drivers and warehouse operatives, supports warehouse optimization, handles incoming deliveries and inventory, and participates in daily vehicle inspections and cycle counts.

Requirements

Experience working in a distribution or warehouse environment.
High school graduate or equivalent.
Ability to repetitively lift up to 75 pounds while bending and twisting.
Computer experience, including Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
Customer service orientation and a high level of professional integrity.
Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
Strong telephone, verbal, and written communication skills.
Must maintain a current driver's license.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
Must pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

Help manage drivers and warehouse operatives.
Assure warehouse optimization standards are met.
Receive deliveries, unload trucks, and store inventory.
Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of vendor products.
Perform daily vehicle inspections according to company policy and ensure truck maintenance needs are addressed.
Participate in the daily cycle count process.
Perform other duties as requested or needed.
