About The Position

Arhaus is recruiting for distribution center positions in Boston Heights and Walton Hills. Open roles are Equipment Operator, responsible for operating equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise, and General Warehouse Associate, responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing merchandise in support of the business. Applicants are scheduled for interviews at the job fair, and a recruiter will email directions after an interview time is selected. Available schedules include four 10-hour days Monday through Thursday, four 10-hour nights Monday through Thursday, or three 12-hour days Friday through Sunday in Boston Heights; and five 8-hour days Monday through Friday or five 8-hour evening shifts Monday through Friday in Walton Hills.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to lift, push, or pull 150 pounds or more.
Ability to perform work without physical limitations that restrict carrying and moving furniture weighing 150 pounds or more.
Working knowledge of computer programs.
Understanding of general distribution or warehouse practices, including unloading, loading, picking, and shipping and receiving processes and procedures.

Nice To Haves

1–2 years of experience in a distribution center and/or warehouse setting.
Valid driver's license.
For Equipment Operators, ability to operate equipment at heights up to 35 feet.

Responsibilities

Operate equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise (Equipment Operator).
Receive, store, and distribute merchandise in support of the business (General Warehouse Associate).
Perform tasks while standing for extended periods and complete repetitive movements.
Carry and move furniture weighing 150 pounds or more.
Adapt to change, multitask, and manage competing priorities.
Build respectful working relationships and collaborate to achieve common goals.
Communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing.
Demonstrate initiative, integrity, honesty, and responsibility for one's actions.
