About The Position

Blain Supply is seeking an Inventory Control associate for its distribution center in Janesville. The role performs cycle counts of warehouse merchandise, checks pallets, investigates inventory errors and discrepancies, and supports other distribution center activities. Associates may cross-train across multiple areas and communicate with associates and leaders throughout the distribution center. Prior warehouse experience is preferred.

Requirements

• Ability to learn and safely operate a variety of warehouse lifts and motorized product-moving equipment.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Frequent lifting of up to 20 lbs and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counts at product locations using a handheld scanner.
• Conduct pallet checks and audits.
• Transfer product from pallet to pallet for scanning.
• Problem-solve errors and discrepancies.
• Obtain and distribute mail to trucks and shipping docks.
• Operate powered warehouse equipment, such as order selectors and forklifts.
• Cross-train to understand and assist in several distribution center areas.
• Communicate daily with associates and leaders from various distribution center departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
