About The Position

As a Distribution Center Associate, you'll pick, pack, ship, and receive products while keeping inventory accurate and operations running smoothly across multiple locations. You'll use scanners and warehouse systems, help load trucks, restock inventory, and maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys staying active, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in doing things right. We're looking for a detail-oriented team player with basic computer skills, solid number sense, and a positive, can-do attitude who's ready to jump in and grow with us.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to lift and walk up to 9 hours a day.
  • Basic computer skills to access work processes through SharePoint.
  • Ability to prioritize work independently for extended periods of time with little or no supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and demonstrated organization skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Consistently report to work as scheduled and provide appropriate notice for any absence in accordance with departmental attendance procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in distribution center operations preferred.
  • Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system preferred.
  • Willingness and ability to work in a team environment.
  • High level of motivation, enthusiasm, and optimism.
  • Knowledge of inventory functions preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operate material handling equipment including hand truck, manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack and human lift.
  • Pick and pack all order types for all products assigned.
  • Process small parcel shipments through UPS, Fed Ex, Purolator, USPS, and Endcia systems.
  • Assist with and finalize domestic truck and export shipments through air and ocean shipping.
  • Process all required transactions in our High Jump warehouse management system using scanners and computers in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Process material receipts and follow up on discrepancies.
  • Move and store materials according to departmental guidelines.
  • Load trucks and containers.
  • Maintain accurate inventory, including regular cycle counting.
  • Care for and recharge machinery.
  • Restock inventory and supplies.
  • Perform daily housekeeping tasks according to 5S standards.
  • Rotate jobs between facilities (the Distribution Center and the Sycamore St. Facility) as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
