About The Position

AriensCo is excited to hire motivated Distribution Center Associates to join our team in Shepherdsville, KY. This is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic organization and contribute to our growing operations. The role will primarily focus on receiving operations. Responsibilities include picking, packing, and verifying orders, monitoring and storing packaging supplies, utilizing a forklift to put away newly received product, confirming purchase orders and intercompany transfers prior to system receipt of goods, applying 6S principles to the assigned work area, performing other duties as assigned to meet customer needs, working safely and consistently identifying ways to make the workplace safer, accurately processing receipts and inventory transactions using company software, receiving, unloading, and inspecting inbound shipments to ensure accuracy, verifying part numbers and quantities, communicating any discrepancies to the appropriate department, and labeling, staging, and putting away inventory in designated warehouse locations.

Requirements

Must be able to use basic hand tools
Basic computer skills; basic math and reading skills
Perform all job functions in a safe manner
Capable of understanding and following standard work practices
Must be able to read invoices in English and understand commands in English from picking system.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Pick, pack and verify orders, as needed
