About The Position

The Distribution Center Associate handles inbound and outbound pallet operations, including verifying, locating, picking, and staging products with an RF scanner. The role also supports parcel and less-than-truckload (LTL) order processing and may involve loading carrier trucks. The associate is expected to work safely and efficiently, meet productivity goals, maintain a clean and orderly distribution center, and inspect and operate material handling equipment with a safety-first mindset.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 2 years of experience working in a distribution center environment.
Proven customer service skills.
Ability to safely operate a sit-down forklift and clamp.
Time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to solve problems efficiently.

Responsibilities

Count and verify inbound product pallets and place them in the correct bin locations using an RF scanner.
Count and verify outbound product pallets, then pick and stage them at the appropriate dock door using an RF scanner.
Complete tasks safely and efficiently to achieve and maintain productivity goals.
Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety in the distribution center.
Complete daily inspections of material handling equipment, including forklifts and clamps, and operate equipment with a safety-first mentality.
Assist with picking and processing parcel and/or LTL orders, which may require loading carrier trucks.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
