About The Position

The Distribution Center Associate handles inbound and outbound pallet operations, including verifying product and placing it in the correct bin locations or staging it at the appropriate dock door. The role uses an RF scanner and may also assist with parcel and less-than-truckload (LTL) order processing and loading carrier trucks. The associate is expected to meet productivity goals while maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe distribution center and operating material-handling equipment with a safety-first mindset.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 2 years of experience working in a distribution center environment.
Proven customer service skills.
Ability to safely operate a sit-down forklift and clamp.
Strong time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to solve problems efficiently.

Responsibilities

Count, verify, and accurately place inbound product pallets into the correct bin locations using an RF scanner.
Count, verify, and accurately pick and stage outbound product pallets at the appropriate dock door using an RF scanner.
Complete tasks safely and efficiently to achieve and maintain productivity goals.
Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety in the distribution center.
Complete daily inspections of material-handling equipment, including forklifts and clamps.
Operate material-handling equipment with a safety-first mindset.
Assist with picking and processing parcel and/or LTL orders, which may require loading carrier trucks.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
