About The Position

Under general supervision, the Distribution Center Associate receives, puts away, replenishes, picks, packs, stages, and ships general, medical, and surgical supplies in the Distribution Center. The role includes receiving Purchase Orders into the system and providing cross-docking services to facilities. The stated schedule is second shift, approximately 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The position is non-management and reports to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive. Requirements

Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced distribution environment and meet productivity standards.
Willingness to learn and be coachable.
Proficiency in typing and computer use, and ability to quickly learn new software applications.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Automated supply or distribution experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Receive Purchase Orders in the system and stage supplies for delivery.
Put away receipted products.
Replenish inventory in low-unit-of-measure locations from bulk locations.
Pick orders using various technology platforms and pack them in appropriate containers.
Stage orders in appropriate delivery zones and prepare them for shipping.
Operate hand trucks, carts, dollies, “man-up” order-pickers, and walkies to transport stored items for shipment.
Keep shelves, pallet areas, workstations, and the shipping supply area clean and organized, and follow safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
Assist with special projects.
Report inventory discrepancies and document them according to policy.
Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.
Perform other duties as assigned.
