About The Position

Responsible for safe, efficient, and accurate transition of product from distribution dock to agencies picking-up product for transport.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain power equipment certification.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds without assistance.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience operating power equipment in a warehouse setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stages agency orders for pick-up in the distribution area.
• Returns remaining items back to stock at the end of the business day.
• Validates invoices for orders and corrects errors when discovered and ensures both agencies and staff sign.
• Ensures products displayed in distribution area are clean and safe.
• Ensures distribution cooler is stocked.
• Provides excellent customer service to agencies.
• Ensures doors are secured when distribution is not open to the public.
• Maintains a clean and safe workspace for both interior and exterior distribution areas.
• Inspects power equipment prior to use.
• Follows all safety standards and procedures.
• Works independently and collaboratively with other departments and employees in support of the mission of the Food Bank.
• Adheres to the Food Bank's Employee Code of Conduct.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
