About The Position

Our site Unither Manufacturing LLC. based in Rochester (NY), specializes in the manufacture of Blow-Fill-Seal, Liquid Stick-Packs, Pharmaceutical bottles, Tablets and Capsules. It has more than 360 employees. The Distribution Associate works closely with Distribution, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to maintain an organized, compliant, and audit-ready material management system.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse systems.
- Ability to follow SOPs, safety procedures, and cGMP requirements.
Nice To Haves
- Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience in a regulated environment.
- Forklift or powered industrial truck certification.
- Experience with ERP/WMS systems.
- Knowledge of GMP/GDP requirements.
- Experience handling temperature-sensitive or hazardous materials.
Responsibilities
- Receive, move, and stage materials in accordance with approved procedures and work instructions.
- Verify materials against documentation (labels, packing slips, work orders).
- Store materials in designated locations following FIFO/FEFO and material status controls.
- Issue materials to production using approved transactions and documentation.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in assigned areas.
- Operate manual material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks); forklift operation as trained.
- Comply with cGMP, safety, security, and site policies.
