Hilco Vision’s portfolio includes Prescription Safety, Lens care, Eyewear Accessories, Lab & Dispensing Products, Dry Eye Solutions, Vision Testing Equipment, Pharmaceuticals, and Diagnostic Exam & Surgical Supplies. Hilco Vision is searching for a skilled Distribution Associate – Amazon FBA Specialist. This role oversees and processes all Amazon shipping and helps with other dock functions when needed. Previous FBA shipping is needed for this role. The role oversees one of the highest revenue streams for Hilco Vision where the associate must be available to answer questions about pick up times, MABD's, and trouble shoot canceled appointments from Amazon. This role is 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday, may require occasional Saturday's and overtime. We pay weekly.

Requirements

  • High school diploma and up to three years of shipping experience with focus on Amazon FBA shipping
  • MS Office Suite knowledge at an intermediate level, specifically MS Word and Excel
  • General knowledge of Amazon portal use, shipping rules, Amazon SOPs is required
  • Experience with Amazon’s ticketing system for rescheduling carriers on canceled loads by Amazon
  • Ability to communicate effectively via email (via MS Outlook), phone (Microsoft Teams), and in person
  • Use of Softeon (or other WMS) and M3 – basic knowledge of both is required
  • Basic knowledge of commercial invoices for shipments outside of the United States
  • Ability to work independently, utilizing specialized knowledge of rules, procedures, and concepts regarding shipping
  • Ability to solve a wide range of problems using general Hilco Vision precedents and practices
  • Ability to meet pre-determined deadlines and great attention to detail
  • Able to utilize a computer w/ MS Window Systems and web-based applications
  • Read, write, speak and understand English, as well as understand basic math.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and process shipments to Amazon. Will be responsible for additional dock responsibilities for other LTL customers as needed
  • Ensure all processes in Amazon portal are followed correctly and efficiently to prevent charge backs from Amazon.
  • Correct labeling for all outgoing pallets/ boxes to Amazon is crucial to the role. Must be able to work independently and with urgency to ensure the order is ready for the routed pick-up date
  • Communication/ attendance at the weekly Amazon meeting on Teams is required. Must have the ability to answer questions about pick up dates, inventory issues, open tickets for trouble shooting canceled loads
  • Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with colleagues in other functions at varying levels, including sales team members, customer service, and sales support
