About The Position

The Distribution Associate II supports warehouse receiving, storage, order picking, and shipping operations. The role receives product from Bausch + Lomb manufacturing operations and third-party vendors, places product in assigned storage locations, retrieves product for the pick area or shipping lanes, and delivers it to internal and external customers. Shipping duties include preparing orders for shipment by stacking pallets, applying labels, wrapping freight, checking orders when needed, and loading trucks. Transactions are controlled through an RF computer system. The associate also maintains warehouse cleanliness and organization.

The position is based in Woodruff, South Carolina, and follows a weekend schedule of Saturday through Tuesday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Compensation is $18.50 per hour plus a $1.25 shift differential.

Requirements

• One year of warehouse or manufacturing experience.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Outlook and the ability to navigate web-based applications.
• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma.
• Certified forklift operator.
• Experience with RF systems and warehouse management systems such as BPCS or Optum.

Responsibilities

• Receive product and place it in assigned storage locations.
• Accurately pick orders to fulfill customer requirements.
• Apply special labels to customer orders and securely stretch-wrap freight onto pallets; check orders when needed.
• Move product from warehouse locations and deliver it to internal and external customers.
• Prepare orders for shipment, including pallet stacking, labeling, and wrapping.
• Load trucks.
• Use RF computer systems to control order transactions.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
