About The Position

The Distribution Associate II supports receiving, storage, order picking, shipping, and warehouse operations. The role receives products from Bausch + Lomb manufacturing operations and third-party vendors, places them in assigned storage locations, retrieves products for the pick area or shipping lanes, and delivers products to internal and external customers. Shipping duties include preparing customer orders for shipment by stacking pallets, applying labels, and securely stretch-wrapping freight. Transactions are controlled using an RF computer. The position also involves truck loading and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organization.

The schedule is Saturday through Tuesday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., at a rate of $18.50 per hour plus a $1.25 shift differential. The position may be located in Woodruff, South Carolina. Applicants must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer; visa sponsorship is not available.

Requirements

• One year of warehouse or manufacturing experience.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Outlook and the ability to navigate web-based applications.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is unavailable.

Nice To Haves

• Certified forklift operator.
• Experience with RF systems and warehouse management systems such as BPCS or Optum.

Responsibilities

• Receive products from manufacturing operations and third-party vendors and place them in assigned storage locations.
• Accurately pick orders to meet customer requirements.
• Apply special labels to customer orders, securely stretch-wrap freight onto pallets, and check orders when needed.
• Move products from warehouse locations and deliver them to internal and external customers.
• Prepare orders for shipment, including pallet stacking, labeling, and wrapping.
• Load trucks.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
• Process order transactions using an RF computer.
