About The Position

This position is responsible for assisting with implementing, monitoring, and managing Aramark’s Supply Chain Management Specified Products and Authorized Distribution Programs. A primary focus of this role is to enable the support provided by the SCM Directors of Distribution in conducting business with Aramark and Avendra distribution partners. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Distribution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Ability to analyze and assess financial impact of complex problems and ability to propose solutions.
  • Mathematical and analytical skills to calculate product pack sizes, weights, prices, and conversions.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint plus ability to learn Aramark/Avendra systems
  • Basic knowledge of distribution concepts and terminology.
  • Owner of data management and ability to provide consistent and accurate reports to Directors of Distribution and Sourcing.
  • Project work with cross functional internal and external teams.
  • Strong written, comprehension, and proofreading skills.
  • Results oriented, self-starter, well organized, ability to adapt to fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Ability to make effective presentations, transfer information to others, and present solutions to problems.
  • Diplomacy, tact and good working relationships with internal and external constituents.
  • Ability to learn food safety requirements.
  • Must be flexible, detail oriented, and a self-starter with ability to exercise good judgment and sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

  • Provide data to Directors of Distribution and Sourcing Teams for Aramark Managed Services and Avendra Business.
  • Responsible for all Profit Center Openings, following the Supply Chain Distribution process including tracking and communications.
  • Manage myVendor System; review vendor safety documentation and ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain and ensure integrity of Distribution content on the Supply Chain website.
  • Review and communicate KPIs, Supplier Opportunities and Aged and Obsolete data
  • Respond and escalate all field inquiries.
  • Coordinate and participate in Distributor business reviews.
  • Research Distribution issues and special projects as assigned.
  • Pull, enhance, and develop new reporting for the team.
  • Understand how data applies to the business and make recommendations on how to drive value.
  • Support contract changes through Ariba System.
