We are seeking a Distribution Administrator to provide customer service support within our Distribution Department. In this role, you will service the needs of clients, respond to customer inquiries, and assist in the resolution of service-related problems to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Minimum of six (6) months to one (1) year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret instructions, brief correspondence, and memoranda.
  • Ability to prepare and compose professional correspondence.
  • Ability to communicate information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings with customers, clients, and fellow employees.
  • Intermediate computer proficiency, including the use of email, databases, word processing programs, spreadsheets, graphics applications, and other standard business software.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and complaints related to distribution operations.
  • Enter shipping and receiving data into the UWS system and maintain accurate records and filing systems, including customer files.
  • Investigate shipping and receiving issues, notify the direct supervisor or manager of identified concerns, and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Conduct and maintain accurate inventory counts and prepare related reports in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and track important documentation and cargo, ensuring tracking sheets are updated regularly.
  • Support the Division/Department Manager in maintaining the company’s ISO policies and participate in meetings and initiatives that contribute to terminal objectives.
  • Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and practices, and promptly report any unsafe conditions or activities to a supervisor and/or Human Resources.
  • Work under general direction with respect to assigned tasks and projects, determining methods, workflow, scheduling, and approaches to meet objectives while operating within established policy guidelines.
  • Provide backup support within the department during peak workloads, employee vacations, and unexpected absences.
  • Contribute to proactive team initiatives aimed at achieving departmental and organizational goals.
  • Demonstrate leadership by setting a positive example and sharing knowledge, skills, and expertise with others.
  • Perform all other job-related duties as assigned by management.
