About The Position

The incumbent in this position serves as a Distributed Computer Systems Consultant for the Agency and reports to the Distributed Computer Systems Analyst II. The incumbent in this position serves as the Distributed Computer Systems Consultant for the FDVA and is tasked with supporting staff members on-site at the assigned location within the county of the Long-Term Care Facility. Configures and supports endpoints for staff members, printers, FIDO2 keys, and Cloud solutions. Ensures 99.99% uptime. Ensures security patches are applied to all endpoints at the assigned work location. Works with the core networking team to resolve DHCP and DNS issues. Completes inventory requirements for all equipment at the assigned work location. Participates in the technology onboarding of new staff at the assigned work location.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science. Professional experience can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required bachelor’s degree.
  • 3 Years of experience supporting customers face-to-face.
  • 3 Years of experience supporting Microsoft Entra.
  • 3 Years of experience supporting Microsoft Intune.
  • 3 Years of experience supporting print management.
  • 3 Years of experience configuring FIDO2 keys.
  • Possess and maintain a current driver’s license.
  • Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs. of equipment.
  • Successful completion of the due diligence process to include, but not limited to, a Level II background check and drug test.
