About The Position

As a Distinguished Technical Program Management for Colony Platform in the AI & Data organization, you will play a critical role in operationalizing AI and data-driven priorities by bridging strategic intent, engineering execution, and enterprise stakeholder alignment. You will drive clarity, sequencing, risk identification, and delivery excellence for complex, cross-functional programs that enable Walmart’s AI/ML platforms and capabilities at scale. This is an individual contributor role focused on technical program leadership, execution rigor, and impact — not direct people management. This includes foundational data platforms, ML infrastructure, AI productization, governance, and Associates builder solutions that enable millions of associates, and data practitioners. The Principal of Technical Program Management will be instrumental in ensuring that strategic AI & Data objectives translate into concrete, reliable outcomes. By enabling clear execution pathways, trusted technical recommendations, and rigorous delivery standards, this role will accelerate Walmart’s ability to innovate, operationalize, and scale AI-powered solutions enterprise-wide. Walmart Global Tech is a team of software engineers, data scientists, cybersecurity experts and service professionals within the world’s leading retailer who make an epic impact and are at the forefront of the next retail disruption.
