•$100,000 - $275,000

About The Position

The System Requirements Engineer (DMTS) defines, analyzes, and verifies system and subsystem requirements that shape overall system design. The role applies systems engineering methods within a model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and/or digital engineering framework. Work includes elucidating mission needs; defining use cases and CONOPS; functional system modeling; developing and flowing down requirement trees; performing analysis-based requirement trades and balancing; conducting simulation-based performance trades and analysis and simulation-based requirements verification; developing test strategies and designs; and managing requirements throughout the product life cycle. The engineer leads requirements assessments and formal and informal evaluations, analyzes results, recommends improvements, and ensures recommendations can be incorporated into requirements documentation. The role also includes strategic technical planning, project management, performance engineering, risk management, interface design, and requirements engineering analysis. The Distinguished engineer independently addresses complex multidisciplinary problems, helps customers define needs and requirements, leads and aligns large multidisciplinary teams, serves as a systems engineering subject matter expert, and contributes to advancing state-of-the-art solutions and techniques. The role supports business capability development, cross-program risk mitigation, enterprise-level operational improvement, and mentoring. Applicants selected for this opportunity will be required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance. The position is located in Clearfield, Utah.
