About The Position

Wake Forest University School of Law invites lateral applications for a Distinguished Chair in Business Law to begin July 1, 2027. The precise course package is negotiable, with preference given to applicants willing to teach Contracts and Business Organizations, in addition to offerings such as Sales, Securities Regulation and/or Litigation, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Tax. Applicants should hold (or have held) a tenured position at an accredited U.S. law school and demonstrate a continuing dedication to high-quality research and teaching. Practice experience is preferred. Review of applications will begin September, 2026 and continue until the positions are filled. Applications should be submitted as a single document including a cover letter, curriculum vitae, statement of research interests, and the names of three references.
