This role helps to strengthen trust in the marketplace by managing consumer complaints and customer reviews. Through professional communication and mediation, this role assists consumers and businesses in addressing concerns, identifying solutions, and working toward satisfactory resolutions. The position also serves as a resource for consumer and business information and education.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or completion of GED
  • 1+ years’ prior experience in office setting with general office duties and responsibilities
  • Strong verbal communication skills with clear, easily heard, and understandable telephone voice
  • Strong written communication skills with ability to respond to e-mail inquiries using proper sentence structure, grammar, and language rules
  • Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills, with excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with a wide range of individuals; comfort in speaking with incoming callers and making outgoing calls
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment with a solutions-oriented approach
  • Self-starter, willing to take on assignments as requested with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task effectively
  • Bi-lingual skills receive priority consideration
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook)

Responsibilities

  • Process incoming complaints and customer reviews from the general public
  • Communicate professionally by phone, email, mail and other to consumers and businesses
  • Perform file reviews on companies to track patterns of complaints as needed
  • Serve as a neutral facilitator between consumers and businesses, promoting constructive communication and professional interactions
  • Conduct data entry and upload files into database system and records
  • Other duties as assigned, which may include providing support for special projects, cross-functional initiatives, and other organizational needs
