This role assists the Display Coordinator or store management with furniture setup and display, and maintaining the store's appearance. The position also involves filling in on the delivery truck when needed, processing customer sales and payment transactions, answering phones, and scheduling deliveries. The job requires a high school diploma or GED, with one to three years of customer service experience, preferably in retail, and one to three years of monetary or cash handling experience. Training or an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. General computer skills, strong math skills, excellent communication and customer service skills, the ability to multi-task, and strong organizational skills are also required. Employees must be able to follow instructions, work independently, and use discretion. The role involves frequent standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, and occasional sitting. Employees must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 150 pounds and assist with deliveries. A physical assessment is required for new hires. Employees must adhere to the company's dress code, including wearing a uniform and steel-toe boots when on the truck.
