About The Position

As a Dispensing Operator, you will be responsible for staging and dispensing of raw materials, cleaning dispensing area, while ensuring compliance with cGMP and SOP’s. This role requires attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to follow detailed instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe work environment and assisting with training as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Basic math skills including units of measurement (i.e., weight, size, volume)
Record keeping skills
The ability to follow detailed instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Basic language skills
Willingness to learn new tasks and procedures
Analytical skills
Attention to detail
Teamwork and communication skills
Willingness to work on weekends (occasionally and if necessary)

Responsibilities

Staging and dispensing of raw materials
Cleaning dispensing area
Ensuring compliance with cGMP and SOP’s
Following all company policies and procedures
Complying with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and other regulatory and Safety requirements
Having complete understanding of all dispensing documentation (i.e., batch records, lot numbers, expiration dates, release dates)
Opening bags, boxes and other containers to be dispensed
Using scales to measure raw materials
Weighing drums individually and all together to verify the weight
Labeling all bags/containers appropriately with product name, lot, batch number, weight, etc.
Using a logbook to document product name, the amount of raw materials used, equipment used, etc.
Assisting machine operators as needed
Maintaining safe work environment
Assuring use of raw materials to specifications
Assisting in training as needed
Performing other duties as assigned
