About The Position
Brandywine Counseling & Community Services, Inc. (BCCS) is seeking a Full Time Dispensing Nurse (RN or LPN) to support their Milford and Georgetown sites. BCCS has been a trusted provider of substance abuse and behavioral health treatment since 1985, focusing on helping community members recover with dignity. The Dispensing Nurse is responsible for creating a welcoming and healing environment by providing quality, sufficient, and appropriate clinical services while maintaining high professional standards. This role primarily involves dispensing methadone for opiate addiction treatment.
Requirements
- Currently licensed registered (RN) or practical nurse (LPN) in the state of Delaware
Responsibilities
- Be primarily involved in dispensing methadone, a medication long known for its effectiveness in treating opiate addiction.
- Assists with Intake process
- Participates in treatment planning meetings.
- Follows-up on all medical referrals and records actions
- Facilitates detox entry with proper referral
