The LPN Dispensing Nurse role is within an outpatient MAT Opioid Treatment Program (OTP). The nursing team provides compassionate, high quality, safe, and efficient medication dispensing to patients seeking recovery from Opioid Use Disorder. The Dispensing Nurse (LPN/LVN) provides compassionate and professional care in an outpatient opioid treatment program (OTP) setting. This role includes assessing patients, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, educating patients and families, and collaborating with the clinical team to ensure safe and effective treatment. The nurse upholds all standards of professional nursing practice and clinic policies while ensuring accurate reporting and documentation of patient care and progress. This is a lower stress environment working in a medication dispensary with no heavy lifting of patients or bedside care. The shifts are stable, consisting of early morning hours and an early afternoon end time, offering a great work/life balance and the opportunity to be part of helping others in a recovery environment. Paid training is provided.
