About The Position

HVAC/R Service Group is hiring an HVAC Dispatcher who will coordinate and schedule service calls, installations, and maintenance tasks for HVAC technicians. You will communicate with customers to understand issues, provide updates, and address concerns, while maintaining detailed records in dispatching software. This is a great role for someone with strong customer service and organizational skills. You’ll work alongside our team in our Miami, Florida office and support technicians from the region.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in dispatching, customer service, or a related role, ideally within the HVAC or a similar industry.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with customers, technicians, and other team members.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Bilingual – English and Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule HVAC technicians for service calls, installations, and maintenance tasks.
  • Communicate with customers to understand their HVAC issues, schedule appointments, and provide updates on service status.
  • Maintain constant communication with HVAC technicians in the field via phone or dispatch software.
  • Keep detailed records of service calls, customer interactions, job status, and technician assignments.
  • Work closely with the inventory and procurement team to ensure technicians have necessary parts and equipment.
  • Handle unexpected issues such as emergency service requests, technician delays, or equipment breakdowns by adjusting schedules and reassigning tasks.
  • Provide excellent customer service and address customer concerns promptly and professionally.
