About The Position

Coastal Waste & Recycling is seeking an experienced Dispatcher to join our growing team! Coastal Waste & Recycling is a growing privately owned, locally operated solid waste disposal and recycling company headquartered out of Boca Raton, Florida serving communities across Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina (and more to come)! Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of Dispatcher experience in a transportation or logistics atmosphere preferred.
Strong data entry skills
Must have working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Etc.)
Excellent organization and communication skills, both orally and written

Nice To Haves

Bilingual English or Creole preferred

Responsibilities

Scheduling and dispatching work to various employees and lines of business
Assist Customer Service with customer requests, route changes, rescheduling for pickups/missed stops
Provides highest level of customer service to all customers
Monitor, process, and escalate cases to supervisor
Assists drivers with problems/issues as issues arise while on route
Reviews driver’s paperwork and files paperwork
Review and updates routes, new customers based on daily communication, reroutes existing customers as required
Ensures that routes are balanced daily
Assists Supervisor/Manager as needed/directed
Update TRUX data / notes
Communicate performance standards and objectives
