Requirements

  • At least one year of experience as a dispatcher
  • Relevant customer service experience
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to type 35-45 WPM
  • Ability to pass a background and drug test
  • Dependability
  • Excellent phone skills
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed set goals
  • Good communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Attentiveness to detail

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with the HVAC or plumbing industries

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming client calls
  • Dispatch HVAC and plumbing service calls to field technicians
  • Schedule appointments to provide prompt, convenient service
  • Maximize field technicians’ time and mileage
  • Utilize radio and tracking devices to direct technicians accordingly
  • Keep clients updated and informed as necessary
  • Ensure that clients are being heard and receiving the best customer service possible
  • Work hard to ensure maximum scheduling efficiency without compromising client satisfaction
