About The Position

The Dispatcher is responsible for the daily operation of the Security/Police Desk at the Kwajalein Central Patrol Station and Roi-Namur Security Detachment. The role is based in the Marshall Islands and supports security, police, medical, and fire response operations.

Requirements

Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Must have an active U.S. Secret Clearance.
Possess 911 Communications Certification or have the ability to obtain it.
Must have Emergency Medical Dispatch Certification.
Must have completed a 40-hour basic telecommunicator program, such as one approved by APCO, IAED, DOD, PowerPhone, or a state equivalent.
Ability to pass medical screening, including a drug test, prior to deployment.
Possess a U.S. Passport with at least two years remaining.
Hold an active U.S. Driver’s License.
Familiarity with the MS Office suite and basic computer skills.
Must pass a background check in accordance with contract requirements.

Nice To Haves

Prior Police/EMS Dispatch experience, military or civilian, is preferred.

Responsibilities

Staff the Security/Police desk 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays.
Maintain the Daily Activity Journal.
Maintain the Military Police Journal.
Dispatch Security and DACP.
Answer 911 calls.
Dispatch medical and fire personnel.
Monitor the IDS Alarm System.
Monitor the C-sUAS station when installed and active.
Dispatch appropriate personnel to locations of IDS alarm activations.
Complete detailed incident reports when required.
