The Dispatcher role is responsible for coordinating and managing the scheduling and daily routing for the commercial driver team to ensure efficient operations and timely responses. This role also involves documenting routine maintenance, driver records, recording route data, and ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and safe driving habits.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in the field of Fleet Management, Transportation Management, Logistics, or related field of study or equivalent experience, background.
1-3 years of experience in dispatch or fleet management
1-3 years of experience in mapping tools, communication systems
Microsoft Office, Teams, Excel, Telematics, Outlook, and Reporting.

Responsibilities

Schedule customer delivery appointments, production shuttling, and any other moves to support the business needs.
Support communication with all drivers throughout the day as you route them to successfully executing the routes.
Daily audit of drivers Hours of Service, Dash Cam Events, and Daily Vehicle Inspection Reports.
Support driver needs in the event of a vehicle break down.
Use of our Telematics systems to keep track of driver locations.
Maintain on time frequency of our equipment maintenance intervals.
Perform random inspections of tractor/trailers to ensure cleanliness.
Communicate daily of how the routing progresses to leadership.
Report all safety sensitive incidents to management and HR.
