About The Position

Parts Authority is seeking a Dispatcher with strong customer service experience to join their team. This role is pivotal to the business's success, serving as the main point of contact with customers and fostering strong client relations. The position includes occasional delivery duties. • Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse.
• Maintain and promote workplace safety.
• Securing and transferring cash or other assets.

Nice To Haves

• 1-2 years Warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling driver routes and ensuring on-time, accurate deliveries.
• Working well with customers.
• Using the dispatch program to track orders from other stores and set up/distribute runs to drivers.
• Ensuring that driver counts, money collected, and delivery times are accurately recorded on bills.
• Working with Parts Pullers to ensure deliveries go out correctly.
• Working with drivers to ensure they know the correct route.
• Updating customers over the phone on the status of their orders.
• Assisting drivers who have difficulty with routes or any other aspect of the job.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
