As an aircraft dispatcher, you'll ultimately be responsible for authorizing, dispatching, and monitoring flight training activities while adhering to company and FAA regulations. Essential Functions Process flight lesson requests from both student pilots and flight instructors. Prioritize flight lessons. (FAA, EOC, STGCK, SOLO, DUAL, Etc.) Coordinate with flight instructors for scheduling efficiency. Coordinate with the aircraft maintenance department for resource availability. Plan, schedule, and control the dispatch function of aircraft & flight simulators. Coordinate with our flight scheduler, and report all schedule changes. Review documentation and endorsements to release flights for activities. Ensure aircraft maintenance schedules and aircraft inspections are current. Maintain a professional dispatch work area and enforce the Student Code of Conduct rules. Process payments and post to student accounts. Monitor and be familiar with aviation weather products. Work a flexible schedule (weekends and holidays included) when required due to business necessity. Ensure compliance of PEA policies and procedures related to flight and dispatch operations. Perform other incidental duties as may be assigned.
