Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and make quick, sound decisions.
  • Comfortable using multiple computer systems and alarm monitoring software (e.g., MAS, Bold, Stages).
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Ability to sit for long periods and work in a secure, controlled environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a dispatch, call center, security, or central station environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with UL 827 standards
  • Strong typing and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor alarm signals and video surveillance systems in real-time.
  • Dispatch police, fire, emergency services, or security personnel as needed.
  • Accurately document alarm events, call activity, and incident details.
  • Follow company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and response protocols.
  • Handle incoming calls professionally and provide customer support during alarms or service inquiries.
  • Escalate critical issues promptly to Shift Supervisors or Management.
  • Maintain clear, accurate communication with clients, field technicians, and emergency agencies.
  • Participate in training sessions and updates to maintain certifications and skill levels.
