About The Position

Easton Coach Company LLC is seeking a Dispatcher to operate the dispatch hotline, answer telephones, take and relay messages, and accurately record all call details in the dispatch log. The Dispatcher will act as a point of contact for drivers operating live trips, responding to their requests for assistance, taking detailed messages concerning accidents, incidents, emergency situations, and vehicle malfunctions/failures, and directing these reports to the appropriate contacts. Additionally, the Dispatcher will distribute keys and manifests to drivers, assess their fitness for duty and compliance with company uniform and personal appearance policies, and record time and other important details of interaction in the dispatch log.

Requirements

• Stress-tolerant nature necessary to consistently, calmly, and effectively responding to demanding, crisis and emergent situations while maintaining self-control and composure.
• Geographical knowledge of Atlantic, Cape May and Cumberland Counties
• All shifts and weekend availability are required.

Nice To Haves

• NJ CDL/Passenger driver license preferred, or ability to obtain one once hired.
• Experience in Trapeze Dispatch System or equivalent, preferred but not necessary.
