PARTS AUTHORITY is seeking a Dispatcher with strong customer service experience for their Chicago, IL location. This role plays a pivotal role in the success of the business, serving as the main point of contact with customers and fostering strong client relations. The position includes occasional delivery duties. Requirements

Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal
Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements
Focus and remain on task in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail

Able to work well under pressure
Must be able to work well with other staff members and supervisors
Must have an open availability, flexible and able to work various shifts and over time.
1-2 years Warehouse experience preferred.
Current, valid driver’s license
Must be able to meet company insurance requirements- (drivers must be 21 years old or over)
Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse
Maintain and promote workplace safety
Securing and transferring cash or other assets.

Responsibilities

Scheduling the drivers routes and ensuring on-time, accurate deliveries.
Work well with customers
Use the dispatch program to track orders from other stores and set up/ distribute runs to drivers
Ensure that driver counts money collected and put delivery times on bills
Work with Parts Pullers to ensure the deliveries go out correctly
Work with drivers to make sure that they know the correct route
Work with customers over the phone to update them on the status of their orders
Properly assist drivers who have difficulty with routes or any other aspect of the job
Perform other duties as assigned.
