Requirements

  • Proficiency in keyboarding and computer usage.
  • Skilled communicator in person, over the phone, and through email.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiating skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to plan ahead and adapt to changing conditions.
  • Ability to manage time wisely and keep work organized for efficiency.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge and understanding of construction builders' needs.
  • Developing practical, realistic solutions that ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Previous experience in load building, forklift operation, manufacturing, and jobsite delivery operations.

Responsibilities

  • Checking the arrival of incoming products from vendors in a timely manner.
  • Invoicing all orders for the day.
  • Assisting in scheduling requests for finish building materials from salesmen and account coordinators.
  • Communicating with drivers regarding delivery questions and finding solutions.
  • Helping the production team with inventory issues.
  • Creating and scheduling credits.
  • Efficiently verifying incoming product deliveries and accurately documenting storage locations.
  • Assisting in scheduling deliveries and returns, optimizing logistics, and changing dates on computer and paperwork when needed.
  • Constantly checking and responding to emails in a timely manner while keeping everything organized.
  • Listening and communicating effectively with Salesmen and Account Coordinators to meet customer needs.
  • Utilizing Bis Track software to check incoming products, create returns, and invoice customer orders.
  • Communicating with drivers and the sales team regarding job-site questions, delivery time updates, and job-site access.
  • Working with multiple locations to coordinate materials and deliveries.
  • Inter-departmental communication regarding inventory shortages, processing back orders, and tracking expected delivery dates.
  • Performing other duties as assigned to support the team and department.
