About The Position

CBSL Transportation Service, Inc. is seeking a Dispatcher for their Pasadena, TX location. With over 50 years of experience in the Bulk Transportation Industry, CBSL is dedicated to providing high-quality, dependable service and fostering long-term customer partnerships. The company has additional locations in Reserve, Louisiana, and Chicago, Illinois.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of current dispatching/dispatcher experience
• High School Diploma/GED required
• Experience with “live dispatch functions”
• TMW or Mcleod experience
• Tanker or ISO Experience
• Knowledge and understanding of DOT, HOS & FMCSA standards
• Ability to communicate effectively, collaborate with others and contribute positively to a team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

• Scheduling of drivers and equipment to meet customer needs
• Ensure status monitor is current and address any issues with driver routes
• Coordinate equipment needs per loading requirements
• Dispatch and plan drivers for local intermodel/drayage operation
• Ensure all customer requests are processed and received
• Provide excellent customer service
