About The Position

The Dispatcher is the bridge between the technician in the field and the customer in the home. This role is key to establishing the foundation for a successful customer experience. The Dispatcher is expected to perform effectively in an environment where priorities can change and learning on the job is never-ending. The Dispatcher is responsible for staying aware of Wisler technician competencies, geographic dynamics, and how best to interact with each technician to ensure the customer’s needs are met. Wisler Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electric proudly serves Roanoke, Franklin County, and the Smith Mountain Lake area. Requirements

  • 1+ years of Dispatching experience preferred
  • Successfully pass a drug test
  • Maintain a clean criminal background
  • Preferably have a prior call center or dispatcher experience
  • Willingly commit to working 40 hours a week on-site in our call center
  • Be available for on-call duties once a month after regular hours to remotely answer phones.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • High School Diploma

Nice To Haves

  • We are open to training individuals from scratch if a solid candidate is identified

Responsibilities

  • Dispatch all types of calls in a manner that results in the highest technician productivity and customer satisfaction
  • Consistently contact each customer before dispatching the technician and follow through on required communications and debriefings
  • Proactively record and maintain accurate dispatch records, document customer communications and provide follow-through on administrative tasks to ensure operational optimization.
