About The Position

This individual will work as part of the Missile Defense Deployment and Sustainment Operations Contract and will ensure safe transportation for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Director and other leaders who visit Redstone Arsenal. Must be able to attain a courier card to deliver or pick up sensitive packages for executives. The Dispatcher/Support Driver will support all visiting Senior Executive Staff members (SES) who are on TDY to Redstone Arsenal from other locations.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent
5+ years of relevant experience
A valid driver’s license is required.
Interim Secret clearance is required on day one and must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance over the life of the contract
Successfully pass background and drug screening.
Ability to greet passengers professionally.
Ability to maintain a driver’s license.
Physically fit with full use of arms, legs, and back.
Ability to obtain and maintain required training and certifications.
Ability to use computers to search for and generate information using Microsoft Office.
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

Transport passengers over specified and unspecified routes
Maintain and report detailed records of vehicle utilization, fuel utilization, and sustainment actions
Experience interacting with executive-level leaders in a professional manner
Experience applying policies and procedures to dispatch vehicles
Demonstrates an understanding of scheduling/planning transportation services to meet obligations
Maintain a valid driver’s license for each applicable location
Maintain current training in defensive driving techniques, driving safety standards, and basic first aid
Perform other duties as assigned
