Under general supervision, this position is responsible for coordinating labor, equipment, materials, trucking, and rentals for all construction projects for assigned locations to ensure project-appropriate resources are allocated. This role involves communicating detailed information to dispatch resources to jobs in the field, working with HR and craft unions to maintain regulations, and arranging equipment utilization with the Equipment Department. The position also assists management in planning job schedules, utilizes computerized dispatch systems, communicates dispatch to superintendents, negotiates with vendors for pricing, understands contract requirements for ordering job resources, codes invoices, updates the underground service alert (USA), and tracks rentals and equipment moves for efficiency.
