About The Position

Coordinates and monitors the receiving, storing, transferring and dispensing of petroleum products at all storage facilities in accordance with established procedures and quality controls. While maintaining proper communication with Supervisors, Fuel Companies, Airlines and employees.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training. or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Ability to speak clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to add and subtract, along with multiply and divide, ability to perform these with regard to weight, measurement and volume.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Must be able to speak, read and write in English proficiently.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • Possess/maintain a valid driver’s license and other FAA Airport required identification/seals or authorizations.
  • Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure
  • Competent in handling difficult situations
  • Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug testing.

Responsibilities

  • Inventory, daily, weekly and monthly's petroleum products as required.
  • Prepare and process required documentation to relate to the work performed.
  • Responsible for dispatching work assignments to a group engaged in fuel system maintenance, aircraft servicing, and related functions.
  • Ensures proper utilization of personnel and equipment and imparts current tor new occupational knowledge to workers within the classification of Gauger and Pipeline Technician.
  • Responsible for the operation of fire/safety control systems associated with all storage facilities.
  • Performs the necessary duties required in accordance with good housekeeping and safety practices.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and as required, airport facility driver's license and/or permit required as a condition of employment.
  • Coordinate operations with the airline.
  • Ensure the safe and secure operations, in accordance with the highest possible standards of health, safety, security and all government statutory requirements.
  • Comply with the Stations’ attendance tardiness standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
