About The Position

This position supervises, trains, develops, and holds workgroups responsible for safety, production, and attendance. The supervisor sets and maintains high standards for account productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization, communication, cooperation, and safety. The position provides innovative and effective leadership and cultivates functional working relationships with personnel throughout the organization.

Requirements

Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent.
Management experience.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
Facilitate training for new and current employees.
Ensure employees adhere to safety policies and procedures and operate in compliance with department, station, corporate, and local government requirements.
Manage department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency.
Establish and promote a positive, team-oriented work environment emphasizing employee involvement, proactive communication, interdepartmental cooperation, and continual improvement.
Implement employee personal development plans as required to support the professional growth of department personnel.
Ensure employees receive orientation, skills and safety training, appropriate materials and information, regular evaluations, and proactive coaching.
