About The Position

The MWHS Guides Haus is unique in the heliskiing industry. The Dispatch Operator is the vital link between the Blue River dispatch and the helicopters & guides flying and skiing in the mountains. This position is responsible for the communication and tracking during the ski day between dispatch and the backcountry, recording of current skiing locations, updating the resort staff with guest reports and record keeping of the daily skiing operation.

Requirements

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Remain composed in a demanding environment and potentially stressful situations
General office experience
Knowledge in Microsoft Office 365
Proficient user of general computer systems
Attention to detail
Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Responsibilities

Handling all radio transmissions
Transmitting, receiving, relaying, and documenting communications between various individuals and groups
Operating computer equipment and applications to track and monitor helicopters, ski guides with groups and mobile resource vehicles
Maintain and record a daily log of flying & skiing activity
Monitoring, implement or assist with the implementation of emergency response procedures in emergency situations as required
Working independently at times and directly with any number of other team members as required
Multitasking, prioritizing, organizing, and completing workload while remaining flexible to changing conditions
Data input tasks
Taking on other projects and tasks as needed
