OhioGuidestone is the state's leader in community behavioral health care, serving around 26,000 Ohioans each year. This role is crucial in supporting their mission by coordinating crisis referrals and dispatching mobile response teams. The Dispatch Coordinator will demonstrate the values and guiding principles of OhioGuidestone, performing with the highest standards of excellence, integrity, and ethics. They will be responsible for receiving incoming crisis referrals and dispatching mobile response teams, including licensed therapists and behavioral health specialists, in accordance with MRSS protocols and response time guidelines. The role involves using dispatch software and communication tools to coordinate field operations efficiently, monitoring real-time case activity, and providing ongoing support to mobile team members in the field. Maintaining clear, accurate, and timely documentation in electronic records systems, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and adhering to privacy laws and HIPAA regulations are key aspects of the position. The role also requires participation in shift coverage that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays to ensure service availability, supporting quality improvement initiatives, and providing coverage beyond scheduled shifts in the event of an emergency.
