About The Position

This internship is a full-time commitment in the Anaheim, CA area from May 2027 – August 2027 OR January 2027 – August 2027 dependent on the business needs. You will have a wide range of opportunities to provide analytic and consulting support to various lines of business including Merchandise, Attractions, and Entertainment. It may even serve as a springboard in launching a successful career. You will have the opportunity to network and learn from other Industrial Engineers and make friendships that cover the globe.

Requirements

  • Proven strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven strong interpersonal skills
  • Proven strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Willingness to learn new software application
  • Currently enrolled in an Industrial Engineering program with an intended graduation date on or after December 2027
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (please note: no rounding) – transcript submission is required
  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program
  • Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
  • Fully available Monday – Friday and occasional evenings and/or weekends depending on project needs for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
  • Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Anaheim, CA area
  • Able to provide reliable transportation to/from work and across Disneyland property for on-site projects
  • Be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines while at work

  • Prior related work experience with a focus on problem-solving

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Industrial Engineering analysis projects, particularly in operational planning support, workload planning and forecasting, capacity utilization, and efficiency/process improvements
  • Ensure the appropriate methodology, measurements, tools and quantitative techniques (e.g. data collection, computer simulation, statistics, process flow analysis, etc.) are applied in projects
  • Lead and participate in team efforts and work on projects which require interfacing with all levels of cast and management
