Disneyland Resort Industrial Engineering Intern, Fall 2027
About The Position
This internship is designed for individuals enrolled in an Industrial Engineering program who are looking to gain practical experience in a world-class organization. The program offers opportunities to develop professional skills and apply knowledge to various operating areas within the company, including Merchandise, Attractions, and Entertainment. Interns will provide analytic and consulting support, network with other Industrial Engineers, and potentially launch a successful career. The internship is a full-time commitment in the Anaheim, CA area, with flexible start and end dates between August 2027 – December 2027 or May 2027 – December 2027, depending on business needs.
Requirements
- Proven strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven strong interpersonal skills
- Proven strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Willingness to learn new software application
- Currently enrolled in an Industrial Engineering program with an intended graduation date on or after December 2027
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (please note: no rounding) – transcript submission is required
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess unrestricted work authorization
- Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program
- Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
- Fully available Monday – Friday and occasional evenings and/or weekends depending on project needs for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
- Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Anaheim, CA area
- Able to provide reliable transportation to/from work and across Disneyland property for on-site projects
- Be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines while at work

Responsibilities
- Conduct Industrial Engineering analysis projects, particularly in operational planning support, workload planning and forecasting, capacity utilization, and efficiency/process improvements.
- Ensure the appropriate methodology, measurements, tools and quantitative techniques (e.g. data collection, computer simulation, statistics, process flow analysis, etc.) are applied in projects.
- Lead and participate in team efforts and work on projects which require interfacing with all levels of cast and management.
