About The Position

The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, glassware, and kitchen equipment. This role involves using dishwashing machines and manual washing techniques, adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines, and contributing to the overall neatness of the kitchen environment. The position may also involve assisting with banquet events and other kitchen duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Use established guidelines to correctly operate and maintain the dish machine.
• Wash glasses and dishes in a standard dish rack.
• Wash pots and pans in the designated pot washer's area.
• Perform all required cleaning to keep the kitchen neat and clean at all times, including sweeping up broken glass/dishes and mopping spills.
• Empty full and heavy trash cans, ensuring they are sprayed and sanitized after each use, and placing new trash bags in the container.
• Follow all MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) protocols and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties in other areas of the Kitchen as assigned, including assisting with plating banquet events when needed.
