As a dishwasher, you will maintain a clean kitchen, properly wash and sort soiled dishes, and prep foods as needed. You will keep the dish area free of clutter and organized, set up dish stations, including dish machines and sinks, and maintain clean/dry floors throughout the shift. Under the direction of the Chef, you will be responsible for all dishwashing and general cleaning. You will report to work on time in the proper uniform and obey all company rules and regulations. Your role is to meet all dishwashing needs to ensure the kitchen and dining run smoothly during peak business levels, and to ensure standards of appearance and sanitation are maintained on a daily basis. You will maintain good safety practices, take fast and appropriate action to solve problems, and maintain a line of communication between the Chef and the Kitchen. You will keep the dish area neat and clean throughout service and be ready to assist others if needed for food preparation. You will need to have the ability to interact at any time with guests and other employees in a pleasant manner and maintain good working relationships with others and all departments at Snowbird.
