Requirements

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50lbs
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Flexible availability required, including availability to work closing shifts as late as 2am on weekends

Responsibilities

  • Cleaning and sanitizing dishes, glassware, utensils, kitchen tools, and food preparation equipment using an industrial dishwasher or by hand when required
  • Ensuring all items are properly cleaned, dried, and returned to their designated storage locations
  • Maintaining clean and orderly kitchen work areas—including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces, walls, and equipment
  • Reporting any low stock, damaged items, or equipment issues promptly to the Executive Chef
  • Following all food safety and sanitation regulations, including proper handling and chemical use
  • Supporting kitchen operations by keeping dish stations, floors, and storage areas clean and organized
  • Assisting with trash and recycling removal in accordance with cleanliness standards
  • Communicating effectively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and safe operations
  • Taking direction from the Executive Chef and contributing to a respectful, team-first kitchen culture
  • Performing other duties as assigned to support kitchen operations
