About The Position

Hourly food service TEAM members are responsible for the successful daily operations of our cafeteria and catering departments. The team member in this position may be required to work in one or more of the following capacities: Operation of ware-washing machine and three bay pot sinks; Removal of waste and recyclables from inside the facility; Equipment care, routine and daily cleaning duties, as assigned; Receiving, handling and rotation of goods and inventory. Team member in this position may also participate in low skill/light food preparation duties, and perform other duties, as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to push, pull, lift or carry up to 50lbs, bend, twist, stoop and reach frequently for the duration of shift
  • Ability to walk or stand for 8 hours on hard surfaces
  • Ability to withstand routine and repetitive work for the duration of shift
  • Ability to tolerate hot and cold temperatures for extended periods of time, while performing job functions
  • Ability to work safely and unrestricted with ware-washing and kitchen equipment
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a TEAM
  • Ability to understand and carry out tasks assigned by managers

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma and/or 1+ yrs in a foodservice or hospitality role
  • Knowledge of basic culinary and kitchen terminology
  • Serve Safe or food handlers’ certification
