About The Position

The Dishwasher plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation standards of the kitchen and dining areas within the accommodation and food services industry. This position ensures that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to support food safety and operational efficiency. The dishwasher contributes to a smooth workflow by promptly handling dishwashing tasks, allowing kitchen staff to focus on food preparation and service. This role requires physical stamina to handle repetitive motions, lifting, and standing for extended periods, ensuring a consistent and reliable presence during scheduled shifts. Responsibilities

  • Wash, clean, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing machines and manual methods.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and floors.
  • Sort and stack clean dishes and kitchen equipment in designated storage areas.
  • Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning tasks and waste disposal as needed.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages to the supervisor promptly.
  • Adhere to assigned work schedules and maintain regular and reliable attendance.
